Them Before Us was an amazing opportunity because it helped me put words to social issues that have bothered me for a long time, such as IVF, while also informing me more about those issues. In some ways, it was painful learning about all the ways that our laws and culture allow children to be commodified, but I’m glad to be a part of such a worthy movement.
